I’m Amparo (ahm-PAH-roh), an Argentine-born graphic designer and illustrator based in Somerset (UK). I'm all about music-inspired artwork and merch design, but I also have a soft spot for print and packaging design.

My creative journey began at the age of 15 when I decided to become a live music photographer. I grew up surrounded by musicians, so picking up a camera and shooting bands felt like second nature! It was also during this time that I started using Adobe programs like Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, and InDesign.

More recently, I discovered a passion for art and illustration, no doubt inspired by my mum, a painter and printmaker. Nowadays, I'm really into designing illustrated posters with a vintage vibe that incorporate hand lettering, whether for gigs or for personal projects inspired by song lyrics.

Prior to focussing on design and illustration, I gained a decade of combined experience in UX Content, Localisation, CX, and Trust & Safety, contributing to tech giants like Twitch (Amazon), HP, and IBM, as well as startups in the gaming and tech spaces.
